It was an absolute blessing that I stumbled across the Doula Group Evansville. Upon finding out I was pregnant with my first child, I knew finding a Doula I connected with was a must.
There are so many things to say. I first met Hilary when I was first pregnant with my 2nd. Unfortunately I miscarried, but Hillary was very kinda and gentle. Upon finding out I was pregnant again, I was linked with Jennifer. I would not have found my power in birth without her. She gave me a voice in my birth plan.
I think most people associate having a doula with a natural birth. My main goal with the doula group of evansville was an unmediated birth but I got so much more. 41 weeks of consistent support, a listening ear, and encouragement- A birth that I reflect on and am so proud/empowered from- and a family friend!
My husband and I had Hillary for both my highly medicated c-section and my unmedicated V-Bac. I rave about her any second I can. She is very supportive in any situation. If your beliefs or decisions are different than hers, you’d never know it. She is rooting for YOU.
