Our doula was Kathy, she was warm and welcoming from the start. This was our first child and wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Even with reading books and taking classes, nothing prepares you like "on the job training". It was very comforting to have kathy with us during the birth of our daughter.
I was interested in a doula because my husband isn’t the greatest under pressure, and I knew from my first delivery that I wanted extra support. Kathy is very knowledgeable, calming, and laid back. She definitely made my labor and delivery more peaceful and a more pleasant process.
