Sarah is a fabulous doula. After my water broke my active labor didn’t start right away. She helped me encourage active labor with several different techniques, and we were able to get it going without the need for Pitocin. My labor then proceeded extremely quickly and I jumped into serious pain immediately.
We hired Sarah for some overnight support with the idea of getting more sleep at night. Sarah did so much more than that, she took care of baby as well as me and it was exactly what we needed. Sarah has a wealth of knowledge and had taught us so much about how to take care of our baby, but all within our own values.
