Choosing a Doula to be apart of my first birth was one of the most important things I wanted when envisioning a birth plan. The wonderful ladies at Detroit Doulas made me feel so at ease in the preparation and provided me and my spouse with ample education on the process and several options you have to meet your baby.
If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. After signing with Detroit Doulas, Alex & Lisa would text me intermittently to check in on me. I was able to ask any super pressing questions, and they shared numerous resources with me.
I feel incredibly fortunate that my first birthing experience was a positive one. My goal was to deliver without any medical intervention, and I 100% believe that I would not have met that goal without the support of Lisa and Alex.
