What families say
Dancy is an amazing doula. She is very knowledgeable, has amazing bedside manner, and truly loves her work. She was more helpful than my OB and gave me (and my husband) exercises to help me flip my baby. She also led me through my labor and gave me resources to time my contractions.
There truly are not enough words to describe how incredible Dancy is. From the very beginning, she made me feel safe, supported, and deeply cared for. I walked into birth as a first-time mom feeling nervous, unsure, and honestly scared — and because of Dancy, I walked through it feeling supported, empowered, and never…
Dancy was so educated and helpful with every body position and massage during the most intense parts of my labor. During the 17 and a half hours of a hospital birth she reassured me, and helped me push through. She helped me advocate for my wishes not to do an epidural and encouraged me with breathing exercises.
Dancy was an absolute delight! This was my 4th childbirth, but very first one at home without an epidural. Dancy was calm and helpful. I didn't know how much involvement I wanted during labor, and she respected any space I needed and was wonderfully supportive of my husband's involvement!
