Shannon was recommended to me by my OB/GYN. I specifically asked my doctor for a doula that worked well with hospital/medical staff. Shannon did a seamless job of guiding my husband and me in a hospital environment, as well as educating and preparing us prior to delivery.
I hired Shannon for the birth of my first child, knowing that there is so much I don't know and great value in having a supportive care team around both me and my husband. She brought expertise and ideas about labor and delivery, but also a joyful and kind spirit to the process.
