What families say
As a husband, my wife’s insistence on hiring a Doula combined with my perception of how ridiculous it would be to hire a “pregnancy coach” felt like we were headed straight for divorce.
Hire a doula, hire a doula! And if you’re able to, hire Tia as your doula! After laboring with my first in 2021 and allowing interventions I ended with an unplanned and in my opinion, unnecessary, c section. I knew right away that I would want a chance at a vbac in the future. Part of that plan was to hire a doula.
Tia was my doula for the birth of my second child. She was incredible from the very start until the baby was born. Tia met us at the hospital while I was in active labor (in the middle of a snowstorm at 4am) and knew exactly what I needed even when I couldn’t catch a moment to even think for myself.
If you want support and help to feel safe, grounded, and empowered, Tia is a doula to have by your side. I can easily recommend her! Tia was actually my backup doula as I went into labor while my doula was on vacation. So even knowing Tia for Short time, I felt very supported and empowered to have my choices supported.
