When I had my son I did not use a doula, pushed incorrectly, and was in pelvic floor physical therapy for several months. When I became pregnant with my second baby I knew that I wanted to explore working with a doula and attempting an unmedicated birth.
My husband and I had the privilege of knowing Jamie years before our son was born. Her passion and love for her family, her job and for others made it a seamless decision to have her with us to welcome our first child. Thank the Lord we did!
