El was one of our midwives, and I'm so glad I was under her care! After having gone through the first half of my pregnancy seeing an OBGYN, I decided I wanted more personal care and actually have a connection with those who will be with me in the room during labor. And I received just that with El.
I started meeting with El very early on in my pregnancy. Before this pregnancy I had had two miscarriages so I felt like I was constantly nervous and on edge for much of the beginning stages. Renee knew that and always made me feel supported and validated.
I saw El throughout my pregnancy and for the delivery of my first baby and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for midwifery care. We had planned a homebirth but due to my blood pressure increasing had to deliver at the hospital. El was with us every step of the way.
We had a wonderful home birth experience with El and I'm forever grateful we hired her for the birth of my second child. We began working with El relatively late into my pregnancy (around 27 weeks) and during those remaining weeks, El provided so much expertise, quality time and personalized care.
