Emma was a godsend to my family, and my only regret was not learning about her sooner. We started working together right about when my son was on the edge of a huge developmental leap and 4-month sleep regression, both of which were as challenging (maybe more) than the newborn stage.
We scheduled Emma to be our night doula for three months, three days a week, and we had a very positive experience! From our initial meeting to her adaptive and thoughtful care of our newborn and our family's needs, everything went wonderfully. Her knowledge, experience, and genuine love for her work are evident.
Emma is a real gem and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She came over to support me and my newborn with overnights while my husband had to travel internationally unexpectedly. It was great to have Emma's calming presence in the home and her expertise in dealing with newborns was greatly appreciated.
We worked with Emma for several months while our twins were about 6-10 months old. As 32 week preemies, they were still waking up overnight quite often needing to feed and had difficulty with sleep training (two babies at once in the same room, not easy to sleep train!).
