Bri was essential to the success of my birthing experience. I honestly didn't know how giving birth was going to go since I passed out from pain in the past, and my husband passed out when I got my tonsils removed. So you can imagine how interesting it could have gotten without Bri there.
if you are considering a doula I would highly recommend BriAnna Orton! She was my doula for my 3rd birth which was a planned homebirth turned medically urgent induction at the hospital. She was a calm, confident presence in what was a very unexpected, scary, and stressful situation.
My wife had unexpected complications with her third pregnancy. We had planned for a home birth. We had already had two and were comfortable with it. The complications with this pregnancy caused us to have to go into the hospital, which we were much more intimidated by. Bri was a godsend.
I was always skeptical of doulas and things of that nature before my wife got pregnant. I always thought “just look the stuff up.” I couldn’t have been more wrong. When hiring Bri, my outlook on everything changed. She educated me and wife beyond belief. Every meeting, she arrived on time and was more than prepared.
