I used a doula with my first birth and was rather disappointed. Preparing for my second birth I knew I wanted a doula again to help me through an unmedicated birth, but I needed to find someone who would be helpful to me and my partner. Jen was exactly who we needed. She is such a calming presence in the room.
I met Jen in a birthing class when I was 32-ish weeks pregnant with my son in 2022. Upon meeting her, I immediately felt her warmth and kindness, and knew she was a special person. Only a few weeks later, my husband and I found ourselves in need of a new doula, and both agreed that we wanted to ask Jen.
